Dr.
Emily Griffith graduated, Magna Cum Laude, from Palmer College of
Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. While at Palmer, she worked as a
radiology intern in the campus clinic and as a research assistant in the
research department. She also enrolled in various course electives to
further her education. These additional courses provided her with
training on adjusting techniques not included in the regular curriculum,
such as Flexion-Distraction, Activator, and advanced extremity
adjusting.
Prior to entering Palmer, Dr. Griffith received her bachelor’s degree in
chemistry from Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, OH. While
completing her undergraduate studies, she was also active on campus,
participating through her sorority and on the varsity volleyball team.
She also worked as a research assistant for the Department of Physiology
and Biophysics at the CWRU School of Medicine, and volunteered at
Rainbow Babies of University Hospitals on the pediatric oncology floor.
Dr.
Griffith is originally from Chillicothe, OH. She chose a career in
chiropractic because it allows her to help others live a healthy and
active lifestyle. In her spare time, Dr. Griffith enjoys reading,
running, volleyball, and traveling. She is looking forward to working
with everyone at Academy Street Chiropractic and moving to the Triangle
area.
